The whole design of this hotel is bright, cool and extremely functional from lobby to room to service. Great spacious lobby for chilling, with a well stocked bar. The staff is young and friendly (think Fitness center coolness and friendliness) and ready to please and accommodate. Corridors are joyfull with well placed mirrors to bring light and space (most of the times hotel corridors are gloomy) Room and bathroom are small but so cleverly designed that you never feel compressed or bump into stuff and there is space for everything. It looks minimalist but doesn't look cheap or spartan. Very impressive. It seems also quite soundproof as I did not hear noise from anywhere. As everywhere at the moment, houskeeping isn't done for short stays but at least they give you a drink token, which is a nice gesture, haven't see this done elsewhere There is a delicious Italian restaurant across. It's a 15 mn walk to the train station and there is a tram stop close-by

Prizeotel Hannover-City is an exceptionally comfortable, clean and quiet place to say. My room had plenty of light, a big window that could be opened fully and excellent WiFi. The room is just as beautiful as in the pictures. It was spacious and clean and everything worked perfectly. The location is excellent; although "behind" the train station (which is usually a bad spot in many European and German cities) it is in a very safe, quiet neighbourhood which is easy to reach even on foot from the city centre. The bonus is that some shops and restaurants work until very late in the train station, so you can pick up what you need on your way back to the hotel in the evening. I myself did not spend time there, but the lobby is lovely as well.

It could be a smart move to lower the guests expectations by naming this chain of hotel Prizeotel!? I think it had an impact on me at least - I was happy to see that it fulfill most expectations I would have on any mid class hotel. And the prize was very good. The location is also quite good, but the immediate surroundings are boring. Skip the city center (15-20 minutes walk “in front of” the hotel), and go to the old town instead (10-15 minutes “behind” the hotel). The hotel has an on site parking for €12 per day. I did not get their breakfast, but I could get a morning coffee for free, as well as a free drink in the bar. The room was comfortable, fresh and clean (but not luxurious of course). Wi-Fi and AC worked really good.

I'm kind of spoiled when it gets to hotels, but I got to say that this one deserves more credit than it does. It's pretty cool, small and efficient. The room is kind of empty and minimalistic, but it didn't bother me because of the nice design that created a warm feeling when in the room. And in fact nothing was missing. Everything was there for a comfortable stay. The two coffee machines in the ground floor for anyone to take off your tea is a super nice plus.

The rooms were exceptionally clean, comfortable and very good value. You get an extremely good set up at a very affordable price. I would recommend this to anyone going to Hannover. The location isn't the best, but few places in Hannover have this advantage. I also particularly like the system of giving you free drinks if you don't need your room to be cleaned for one night.
